BACKGROUND
There can be no denying that RemoteTaxi is a unique concept in live and location recording. But this didn't materialise overnight… many years of thought and design have gone into the 'Taxi' as you see it today.
Throughout the past 30 years RemoteTaxi Managing Director, Peter Brandt has successfully established his own live recording company (Remote Recording) as a global institution recording such artists as The Rolling Stones, Queen, Bon Jovi, Pavarotti, the list goes on… but despite all his achievements Peter could see that the marketplace was changing and the future of live recording had to adapt to survive as a viable business!
His vision was to achieve -
… high-quality audio recordings, from stereo to surround-sound
… in a resourceful vehicle, which has the ability to self-promote
… to all markets, from consumer to broadcast
… at a competitive price-point!
I think Peter has ticked all the boxes there!

Our mission is to establish RemoteTaxi franchises in every major city across the world - and you could be instrumental in making this happen!
A RemoteTaxi franchise is not the same as a burger or pizza franchise - this is not an opportunity for everyone. We can't teach you how to correctly mic-up a drum kit or set-up a Pro Tools session… we can only consider audio professionals. Is this you?
We will give you the tools, the operational guidelines and the support - but you must either have a recognised audio education or considerable experience in working with live or recorded sound. And of course, the mind to run your own business.
