MEET THE TEAM
Peter Brandt - Managing Director
An institution for more than 25 years, Peter Brandt has been responsible for numerous recordings by international rock, pop, jazz, and classical greats. He has recorded productions by The Rolling Stones, Queen, Sting, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Miles Davis, Joe Zawinul, Pavarotti, and many others. As before, Peter still continues to be in charge of the TV sound for many television shows, including the MTV Campus Invasion, Athens Eurovision Song Contest, twice for the Amadeus Award in Vienna and for the last three years the German Telekom street gigs.
Whilst working with German broadcaster ZDF, Peter has also recorded Robbie William's 2010 Radio Concert and Hugh Laurie, Norah Jones and Anne Sophie Mutter for Europe's biggest live TV show, Wetten Dass…?
For several years now, he has also worked as surround-mixing engineer on DVD productions of well-known artists, including Jon Lord, PUR, Roger Cicero, and Mario Barth. In 2007, he was awarded a Grammy® for “Some Skunk Funk” by the Brecker Brothers.
2008 was a year of change and innovation. With his “RemoteTaxi”, Peter now offers an economical, compact alternative to the Recording Mobile. The unit combines professional equipment with small, flexible vehicles – and is of course operated by the same experienced people who are in charge of the large-scale productions.
The proven Recording Mobile, designed and built by Peter Brandt in 1990/91, was retrofitted in 2008. The entire control room was mounted on a semitrailer and expanded with another room that can be used as a lounge, production office, or audio/video editing and cutting room. The trademark high quality and wide range of possibilities – particularly resulting from maintaining the excellent acoustic properties – were augmented by adding further high-end components.

Tony Andrews - Marketing & Press
Tony cautiously edged his way into the recording industry via the one and only UK backline equipment rental company that existed in 1979; Maurice Placquet. He very quickly found himself setting up and tuning Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzers and Clavinets and programming Mini Moogs, ARP Odysseys and Prophet 5s and the general new wave of analogue synthesisers in the pre-MIDI days.
After four or five years of this, (which he would possibly class as the most entertaining in his working life!) he set about the lower rungs of a career ladder straddling a number of London pro-audio rental companies. He held such lofty positions as stock controller, hire manager, new business manager, rental director, operations director and finally marketing director at Europe’s premier audio rental company, FX Rentals.
For the last seven years, he has been working as a freelancer specialising in Marketing and Design for recording industry products and services. He is a Director the APRS (Association of Professional Recording Services) and is part of the working group of JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Support) whose purpose is to create and maintain supportive links between Education and the Media Industries.
